Matt Moran is every bit the celebrity chef on television but in person he has an everyman quality and a passion for paddock to plate that is infectious.

“I just love it,” Moran said.

“I can’t drive past a farmer’s stall on the side of the road without buying something, I love finding out their story.

“When you actually find out the story and the love affair of the farmer or the producer growing something or breeding something, to me it tastes damn better.”
